Pizza Gazzebo entered and won the IFF contest against the Primaveri Family Restaurant, despite some issues trying to get the ingredients for the "Gazzebo Special Pizza".
Pizza Gazzebo had a booth at the IFF, and was informed of a last-minute competition. All of the attendees would be invited to participate in a cook-off with 2 hours to prepare any menu item for judgement. The winner would get $10,000! Well, how could Pizza Gazzebo not enter with their Gazzebo Special Pizza? Only problem is that the ingredients are hard to come buy on such short notice, so Pappa Gazzebo had to send out the kids and Marc (Who happened to be making a delivery to IFF) to get them.
Nick was sent to get the Special Roma Tomatoes from Rome, and ran into a couple of thugs on the way home who seemed to want to kidnap him, then when he started running, tried to shoot him! He got away, and the tomatoes weren't bruised.
Pixie and Trixie went to the butcher shop to get the Special Italian Sausages, and to the cheese shop to get some fresh mozzarella. They managed to get the right sausages from the right guy despite the crowd in the butcher shop, and even convinced the owner of the cheese shop to only give them the mozzarella and nothing else, by promising to come back later for a cheese plate to put out at the PG booth at the IFF.
Marc had the long ride out of the city to a farm where happy cows make good ricotta. He slowed down enough to not scare the cows, got the ricotta, and got back in time to help get the pizza to the show.
Everyone met back at Pizza Gazzebo and helped Giuseppi make the pizza. Trixie, true to her word, went back to the cheese shop and brought the cheese plate to the show. Meanwhile, the pizza got cooked, and Marc was asked to deliver it, since traffic got heavy and the van wouldn't make it in time.
Marc and Trixie made it to the show at about the same time, but it was clear that the bicycle simply wouldn't make it to the competition in time, so they traded packages, and Trixie made it to the contestants table with minutes to spare. Marc delivered the cheese, and helped out at the booth till the rest of the family arrived.
Pixie and Nick got given money for lunch, and Pixie was tasked with bringing lunch to her sister. And after Trixie had food, Pixie gave up and went to the bakery and loaded up on pastries.
Trixie managed to choose the two best slices to send up to the judges table, and in the end, Pizza Gazzebo won the contest, the $10k, and a lot of free advertizing.
