Ghetto-Fabulous Spicy Tuna a la Waldrop
The secret to a truly ghetto-fabulous recipe lies in its simplicity, cheapness, and the ability to pass it off as a delicious cultural delicacy. This recipe is exemplary of all three important aspects and is my new favorite box lunch in a pinch. The ingredients are cheap, it can be prepared in seconds, and best of all, I have served it over rice accompanied by a little nori and fooled multiple people into thinking that I make gourmet Japanese diner food. Thanks Jim!
Ingredients:
1 can tuna (drained)
1 heaping tbsp mayonnaise
1 generous tsp scriracha hot sauce
a couple shakes of chili-infused sesame oil
Cram all the ingredients in a bowl and give it a good stir, so you get an nice homogeneous pink substance. Taste and add more scriracha if you like it spicier. This stuff is delicious mixed in with rice. Once you've tried it, you'll never be able to eat that classic mayo-relish crap again.
