Chadius: TOA Summary 8/13/07

• Emero's Nightmare: A mining shaft with green shards everywhere.
  • Emero's depressed, tells them to go on without him. He's useless
  • Diiman pulls out his eyes and collects some pieces
  • Tara does a charming ritual to cheer up Emero, Diiman falls for it
  • Lily builds an Emero collector, vaccuums
  • Ceelie hugs Emero's fragments, he promises she won't lose him.
  • Party shows up in the actual mining shaft
  • Ceelie and Emero are hugging

• Closing in on the Nightmare!
  • It's surrouned by Lord England, the Master, Henry McDoofus, and Eltren
  • Fight ensues!
  • Li weakens Henry and Eltren, Daestra finishes them off
  • Diiman guns the Nightmare up something fierce, it collapses
  • Behind the door it was guarding was a treasure chest!

• Tara, Lily, and Li try to open it, no such luck.
  • But the Chosen One (Ceelie) opens it!
  • A golden fork! This one's has streaks of black ink on it, unlike the eternally polished fork.
  • Ceelie knows where the exit, Emero leads through the party back up to the entrance
  • Group hug at the entrance!
  • Daestra says bye bye, goes separate ways (not before exchanging friend codes)

Objective

Defeat the Nightmare and get the second golden fork

We arrive inside the deep darkened tunnel
I light the path with Black Tiger's high-beams
The walls continue on like a big rock funnel
Gems of emerald gleam like shattered dreams

Poor Emero is broken
'Please go on without me' he cries
I collect an emerald token
'We do not believe the nightmare's lies

'We are your friends and will not leave you
We will have you back together in a few.'

Diiman knows what we can do!
We can collect him with a Emero vacuum!
Lily decides to help out too
She builds a machine that goes vroom

While Emero continues to worry
Tara prepares a spell of charm
Viveka cooks the components in a hurry
And I talk of bad drugs and their harm

The spell is cast and no one else is affected
but my interest, the unicorn effected

The vacuum chugs to life
pulling Emero's shards together
In the bag the shards are rife
The cave air is wild green tornado weather

All the pieces are here at last
Into the Black Tiger we prepare our escape
from the fears of our past
and into the nightmare's real estate <background laughter>

We awaken from the creatures annoying bugging
Ceelie and Emero are hugging

Down the mine shaft we proceed
until all our nemeses we do encounter
Li's Master and Henry McDoucheBag do precede
President Eltren and Lord England with a rocket launcher

And way in the back behind all the guards
squirms the nightmare with its tentacles and barbs

Lord England's rockets blast the front line
Henry tosses some rocks at our unicorn
Lily blasts Lord England, but he is just fine
Viveka claws the master, and he is slightly worn

Li bashes President Eltren right in the chest
who immediately counters with claws of piercing
The master smacks Vivi, soaking her vest
But Eltren suddenly falls from some mental wrenching

I pull the Wild Boar and run up the walls
Raining hurt upon the nightmare with lead balls

The nightmare strikes us with tentacles of pain
while his allies begin to fade
Each one vanishes with a cry of disdain
The nightmare's lashes will soon be repaid

Tara's charged beam fires her beam of power
The nightmare and his friends fight once more
But my blazing gun makes them cower
as the bullets rip through the nightmare's core

And there I stand inside a pile
of nightmare guts while wearing a smile

Behind the destruction an doorway unfolds
It reveals a chest of unknown origin
Tara tries to open it but it holds
Then Lily and Li give it a try but it's not budgin'

It must be opened by the chosen one
Ceelie gives it a try and we are done

The second golden fork is rather inky
It seems to be covered in streaks of black
which transfer onto my hands and pinky
but the fork still covered in more plaque

To the surface we are bound
But we don't know which way will lead us there
We test senses sight, smell, and sound
but all our attempts go nowhere

Finally I realize that we have a guide
'Hey Emero, do you know the way outside?'

'Oh Right. Just take a left and then a right'
Emero says, pointing out the turns to make
He shows us the way back to the land of light
Where we all are glad to be awake

Together we managed to complete our mission
I thank everyone, but they mostly shrug
'Really you guys all were awesome on this expedition,
so everybody gather for a great group hug!'

Daestra waited while we hit the roads
but not before Lily and she exchanged DS friend codes!

Bob - That was horrible! Several of those don't even rhyme. Escape and Estate?

Diiman - But it was too funny to pass up. I entertain people for a living, It's not like I ever claimed to be a poet. So do I win the bet or not?

Phil - I thought that it was hilarious. I think that it was close enough for a spur of the moment thing.

Mike - Yeah, plus I really want to see Bob in a tutu. I mean we've already seen Diiman wearing tights and doing a silly dance.

Diiman - Hey, ballet is a refined art form.

Bob - So is poetry, but you butchered that one pretty well.

Diiman - Well, I'll see you at the party. You better wear it.

<Diiman leaves>

Phil - Awesome. I hope it was worth it.

Bob - Hey I got him to stay on topic for the entire thing. With the odds on that, I made $800 this time.

Mike - Hmm... $800... tutu... Nope wouldn't do it. See ya at the party.
