Chadius: TOA Summary 2/5/08

• Diiman finishes dinner, gives Tour of LA
• Heads to LA house, goes to sleep

• Li talks to Master Quilos

  • Li thinks about Deen, who was interested in apprenticeship.

• Lily digs some dirt on The Cult of the Mother

• Lily goes for lunch with Lucy

Dear Report-ary,

Here I am in Hollywood!! Like I said before, Zii gave us a week off so I told Diiman yes when he asked if I wanted to come to LA to visit the set of his new movie, Spiderdude Slayers 8 or something. The city is very big and loud; Diiman gave me and Ceelie a tour of it in the Black Tiger and it was really very overwhelming!

Dii's house out here is pretty big but not as big as the one in New York. His butler is also very nice. Ceelie and I took a bath with very big piles of bubbles and that was fun too. But we were tired so we went to sleep at a normal time.

The next day we headed to the set! I never realized that when you are making a movie you do the same scene a whole bunch of times to get it right. I watched for a while and sneaked Ceelie some food in my pocket but then we started running out of food so I went to see some other movies being filmed, including this really neat Victorian romance. It was very moving, and also they had some really good fancy donuts that Ceelie liked.

Well then it was lunchtime, and somehow Ceelie was still hungry!! We went to the cafeteria and the mac and cheese was okay. My foster mom made it better, but it was still good, and I should remember to call her sometime! I think their anniversary is coming up, maybe I could send some flowers or something like that. Anyways we had lunch and then we had the rest of the day off.

I am not totally sure what everyone else was doing at this point yet. Ceelie filled me in a little bit later though, Lily was doing some research! It was on this group called the Cult of the Mother. It is crazy, she even works on her week off. At least she took some time to have lunch with Lucy, who is very nice and asked about her Future!

Li had headed to China so since he was not in TOA Ceelie could every once in a while check on him and see how he was doing. He was mostly very calm, training some students and thinking about training Deen maybe. Later the Master gave him a picture that made him sad, but Ceelie was not sure about why or how since he is very private and she did not want to pry into any secrets accidentally because that would be rude.

Well, time to decide what to do tonight! Diiman does not have to film again until tomorrow morning so we are going to make some plans.
