Action Hero High teaches heroes how to be more heroic. It's much more than just saving the day. You've got to beat the badguys in style, spout off witty/cool dialogue and wail on guitars while you're at it. No reason to save the world if no one's watching you do it.

Oh man, that first pic is a disaster. Sam's face is all wrong (I didn't draw her ears in) and Manny is just off. Luckily, I can use speech bubbles to hide everything, mwahahaha!
With the interview pic, I used negative shading. Basically I drew the pic, then put a shadow layer on everything. Then I erased what I didn't want shadowed. Gives a dark feeling, right? I'm a genius. Well, The New Batman Adventures are genius and I'm just copying them, but bah!
Hopefully this gets the universe's feel out to you. I'll finish Da Central Plot with the next ep.

Hooray, only 13 days! Haha. Anyhoo. I think there's enough background for me to start the story.
Maks changed a bit here. I'm at the point where I don't mind staying directly on model. Sorry about Manny's perspective in the first shot, you know how hard perspective is though. I also tried to spruce up the background a bit with a few background objects and frames.

Uploaded a higher resolution picture. It's a hoot messing with image size vs quality, especially since I impose a 100KB file size limit on myself.

Layout of DOOM! The text bubbles are a bit out of place, makes the order of speech a bit hard to get. Also, the last pic was giving me fits. I'm really proud of Swayaah's cute and nervous look, and I didn't want anything obstructing it. Maks looks really good in the first pic, I'm proud of that portrait. And the extras in the first panel, of course.
And there are the main characters: Manny, Swayaah, Sam, Nikess and Maks. Let's see if I can get a multi-parter up and running next.

How will I ever maintain a weekly schedule at this rate? Heh. Anyway, terminology and introducing a new character, Nikess. Nikess lists the REAL reasons for using a computer, yeah!
I also worked out a good routine for comic creation after I missed that Saturday. Mainly, I spend at least an hour every day working on the comic. Sometime I would blow the entire night away coloring and scribbling. Let's see if I can keep this up for next week.

Wow, that took a while. Coloring took quite some time, since I had to decide what the main characters looked like. Heck, I even forgot to draw wings for one of the characters, whoops.Then I needed to generate crowds. I only made five types of crowds and copy-pasted them everywhere. I'm pretty proud of Manny's stupid grin though.
Lucellia's text was hard to write. I knew it needed to be majestic (terrible at that) and comforting (really bad at that) yet succinct.
Well, there's the setting and main characters. Hope you enjoy.
