A tale

Gather around. It's a good story. It's the tale of a group of heroes who saved this grove ten years ago. They saved lives, routed evil and asked for nothing in return.

Some of you, I know are skeptical. Why would they do that? OK, Querca was from this grove, yes so she would protect it. But what about her companions? Let me begin the day before the rescue...

They were set to return home after a trip through the Plane of Air when they reached their ship in the Astral Plane. Good times if you're a smartie, if the Githyanki and the Astral Beasts don't get to you first, ha. And so they met what was left of good old Fire Ender.

Some of you might remember 'ol Fire Ender. He was a good friend of mine, once I tried to pronounce his full name from memory. Took an hour but he was quite impressed a non-Tremen actually remembered his name. Sadly he had been taken by a deadly curse. He and his friends managed to leave a final message: The grove was under attack. Fire Ender's weasel friend managed to survive and would guide them.

Pazuzu and a fleet of dragons invaded the grove, waylaid our defenses and captured our High Lady. They stole a trinket of some kind. Well it looked like a trinket to most of us but it was a crystal that controlled black dragons. Yes, very interesting hm?

They returned to the material plane--that's this place ladies and gents--and headed towards...ah...

A tale, a too

That Old Man's home, silly! Anyway, I helped TOM out (that's what we call him) for a while. They came in and the one dude, Michael? So cute.

Speaking of cute, I swear it was the most cute puppy ever. Well, it had bat wings and its breath was a little stinky. But it ran up to the bony guy and was so happy! He said it was a gift from his mother or something that is SO NICE. But he can't find Mother; he's holding up pretty well though. Speaking of mothers!

So Michael? Yeah he asked some angels to help his mother. Looks like one of them came by and helped her. There was a device strapped to her head. Michael could guide his mother towards salvation. Oh, Dragon girl helped out too. In fact I think everyone but the skinny guy went to help.

So what's the best way to describe it? Well it was pretty cool, like Michael would grow horns, and he'd get leathery wings and all that. Dragon girl thought that was hot, yeah me too. Anyway they went on for a bit and his mom looked more and more like a regular ol' angel. Not my thang but they were so happy when she woke up!

With that done it was time to get some intel on the grove! It looks like whoever was invading was calling more Black Dragons over. Huh? Oh you want to take over?

Three Tales! Ah ah ah!

Pazuzu attracted more and more black dragons to the grove. He was taking up a base here it seemed. Our heroes choose to head over and see how much intel they could get. Now Querca, she understood how the wind blew. She skipped all over the grove, like pollen, and spoke to the land itself. It was wounded, but it gave her the best way to approach our grove; especially where our leader was.
