Well, KLM here.

Casa Grande is a nice place to stop. Well, if you're a pirate that is. Anyway, this is a great place to sell off those pleasure bots for tons of creds! First stop: Moma's Kitchen.

I sell two off to her at 150K a pop. Seeing as how the market has it at 130K (ooh, that STD virus really drove prices over the normal 50K, huh?) I smelled major profit. Moma is large and in charge though, and she got her money's worth, oh yeah.

On our way back to the ship a couple of brigands stop us. They smell money. Kamir smells a fight. Oh yeah. BAM! One of 'em shot me in the arm, and it bled alot until Gerd fixed it. Oh, the brigands had a frequent shopper card at Moma's. Guess they won't need it anymore. Especially the guy who burst into flames. Gerd takes full responsibility for it. Cool.

Well, time to sell more pleasure bots. I went to a respected merchant in town. He asked that I store my weapons and my friends stay outside. Makes sense, protection is important. He took me down to 100K per bot, and he talked to me about someone diluting his economy with pleasure bots. Oh boy, I'm in trouble.

Anyhoo, I come back with 5 bots and boy, I get swindled. First of all, he knocks the sale price down to 80K. Secondly, he says he could've kill me the moment I stepped in (he's right.) Third, he tells me to get out of town, the merchants don't like me here. Man, he's good at this, I gotta learn my salespeak better. He does smell potential in me, though. He seems like a friendly rival I can buyout eventually.

We didn't get a chance to buy equipment, and I got gyped. But Captain Marcus is "we earned over 600K credits in a single day! I love you man!" Ah well. Profit is profit, I guess. We decide to go celebrate at a bar. And what's this? A few miners are talking about an abandoned ship in an asteroid field. Hull barely breached, crew dead, inventory left intact.

I smell PROFIT!

We head out soon after. Gotta beat those miners to the booty first. And I simply MUST learn these sensors. They confuse the heck out of me.

Anyway, we board the vessel and wow, barely untouched. Lots of weapons and rhodium cores and mystery cores just...lying around. What's the catch? I wonder. And then I see it run by. Predator!

We corner it and boom! Spikespore! These puppies jet around low-atmosphere areas and can hang on ships for months until there is...say...a Hull breach. Then they come in and kill the crew! Just like OW it scratched my arm! Kamir, kill it! Owie!

Anyway, we find the Captain's room. Tyson Hawk lies dead on the floor. With his neck slashed open. Kamir carries his corpse to the bed and gets halfway there before I notice it: Hatchlings burrowing out of his stomach. Ewww kill it. Kamir apologizes (why?) before digging into Henry's gut and squishing those freak babies.

Oh yeah, and we find another Spikespore on the bridge, next to the hull breach. The artificial gravity system shorts out during the fight (OOC: winks at GM for forgetting about gravity until now) so we're floating around. Anyway, Kamir gets a great idea. He shoves a grenade into its maw, opens the airlock and hucks it into space. It was pretty funny to watch it try to dash back into the ship before it exploded. I think Kamir likes grenades.

Anyway, we head to the top level. All I see is Kamir opening the top floor hatch, tossing a grenade, and slamming the hatch. Then I feel a vibration, and Kamir opening the hatch again. "Grenades" he says...oh yeah, Kamir likes grenades.

Hmm, what's this? A cryostasis capsule? Looks like it was juryrigged (A really good rigging, might I add) with a propulsion engine or something. The cover is frosted over, I can't see who's inside. But if there's a survivor, I suppose we should save vim. Maybe there's a reward, or some kind of gratitude for it. Aww yeah.

A Rhodium power core, some grenades for all of us (a few extra for Kamir) and a cryostasis tube. And to top the miner ship are whining at us for getting the goods first! HA! We win.
