Bottled.  Fruity flavor is gone.  Carbouy cracked and leaked.  Leaked beer molded, but it doesn't taste like there's been any contamination.  Color is good too. --[[User:Morrigu|Morrigu]] 18 December 2011

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (3.3 lbs) light malt extract
  • 1 can (3.3 lbs) amber malt extract
  • 1 tube White Labs Dry English Ale yeast
  • 1 oz fuggle hops pellets
  • 1 oz Styrian Golding hops pellets
  • 1 tsp irish moss
  • 5 oz of priming sugar

Brought ~2.5 gallons of water to a boil. Removed from heat and dissolved LME. Returned to heat, brought to 190F, added Styrian hops and started a 1 hour timer. At 30 minutes, added the irish moss. At 15 minutes, added the fuggle hops. Cooled in a sink of cold water to 90F. Added cold water to 5 gallons. Pitched at 75F.

IG: 1.050 @ 75F = 1.051 @ 60F
