Ingredients:
- 2 Cups (l large package) milk chocolate chips
- 8 oz reduced fat cream cheese (do not use regular cream cheese, as it is a PITA to mix)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 6 oz cool whip (from 8 oz tub, retain 1/4 of it for topping)
- 1 chocolate pie crust
- Bake pie crust for 5 minutes at 375 deg F. (not with oreo crust, as that just makes it more crumbly)
- Microwave chips on 70% power for 1 minute; stir; microwave for 30 to 60 seconds longer on 70%. Stir until smooth
- Beat cream cheese into chocolate. If necessary, microwave on for 30 seconds 70% power to make easier to stir
- Add vanilla and cool whip. Stir
- Spoon into pie crust
- Chill until firm
