Black Blood of the Earth from Funranium Labs is a vacuum extracted cold brewed coffee. It's fun, and it's strong. I've been getting it for a while, but now I want to record my tasting notes so I can keep track of which ones I actually like.
SU (Sumatra) - Straight is a little strong, with over-roasted and almost burned flavors. Mixed/diluted it becomes pleasant and almost sweet, as most BBotE does, with basic coffee flavors.
KE (Kenya) - Straight is a strong, medium roast coffee flavor. Mixed/diluted Very nice, smooth, very easy to drink with lots of rich coffee flavors.
MO (Malabar) - Straight is a little bitter, uninspiring flavor. Mixed/diluted it's sort of uninspiring. Very generic.
ET (Etheopia) - Straight is strong coffee, but not bitter. Very nice mixed with milk. Mixed/diluted it's a pleasant, smooth, easy to drink coffee.
KB (Kona Blend) - Straight is flavorful, strong, very tasty. Probably best to drink straight of all of these. Mixed/diluted with seltzer it's a very nice coffee soda. Definitely the best of the bunch.
Jamaica Blue Mountain - Straight A little bitter, but very flavorful. Rich and pleasant despite the bitterness. Mixed/diluted with seltzer: strong and smooth with the bitterness gone.
Tanzania - Straight has a nice coffee flavor. Smooth and a little bitter, but very drinkable.
DW (Death Wish) - Straight is strong, very dark roasted but not quite burned flavor, but not bitter.
Colombia - Straight up front punch of coffee and chocolate with a touch of balancing bitterness that doesn't detract.
Pe (Peru Salkanty) - Straight notes of old leather and tobacco. Not unpleasant, but weirdly dry on the palate.
