I have some suggestions for activities that I'd totally help run. Most of these are activities that Steph and I wanted to do or have done, but if it's fun for grownups, it's probably even more fun for little girls.
- Nyx, MAC, & Cheese day. Trips to the Nyx and MAC counters for a primer in makeup (what's appropriate for every situation, and what's not), then a lesson in making homemade paneer korma. End with a fabulous group dinner where girls look fab and the food is fab.
- Revitalize an ugly dress sewing workshop. Each girl brings an ugly old dress and we teach them how to modify it.
- Hair-teasing workshop. How to get that hair REAL BIG.
- Sass class. Build girls' self-confidence through exercises in social situations. How to deal with bullies and difficult social situations, fabulously.
- Legos and electric motors. Because roboticists are hot, no doubt about it.
- Bottle rockets. Learn about aerodynamics... from a former rocket scientist. Make your own out of 2 liter soda bottles, cardboard, and tape! Go to the park and launch 'em.
