Dear Diary,

I have never written in a diary before, I hope you do not get mad if I forget to do so every day. Life is so big and interesting and distracting! The other day we were attacked by dire lions, I distracted them with my pretty colors and it was neat! I wonder if we could convince the party to travel by night some of the time?

My friends and I are having such an adventure! We have been investigating some conflicts between temples, stealing idols and things- it looks like priests of one temple are trying to gain some of the power of their rivals. Very interesting stuff! Lucia and Manny are very smart and are putting those pieces together I think.

My friend Marra has been having some trouble lately. She is a cleric of Nox, but I guess sometimes she accidentally prays to Ramver too. Or at least she did the other day! It was so awful, I tried to stop her, but this pillar of light came down and burned her right up! Thankfully she somehow survived it...? It was extremely distressing, I @___@^____%%(%)____!!

Okay calmed down. So when I prayed next I sent up a little note to both of them asking them to please play nice with my friend. Since you know, Nox, Ramver, it's all the heavens to me, I like them both! (I wonder why that doesn't count as heresy or sacrilege? I guess since I'm not a priestess.)

Speaking of priests of Nox, I met the most dreamiest guy ever in Scryfe. His name is Rand and he is the most amazing and considerate and skillful lover ever, so wonderful that I even broke my rule and saw him twice! I hope he did not think that was too strange. But it was not even a little bit boring, so maybe I have been wrong all along!

Another thing I was wrong about: it turns out I was in fact charmed by a vampire. We were having dinner at Asterra's family's house and her dad did some magic on me and then PULLED OUT HIS SWORD, I was so scared! I tried to run away but her family was everywhere, they sat on me and I screamed and cried but to my surprise he did not stab me, instead he did some magic on me and managed to dispel the charm. It took him four tries!! Asterra's mom made me some tea and then it was all better. Plus seeing Rand again that night.

Okay, now we are off to the Capital for an adventure trying to track down who is behind all these temple fights and thefts. Gotta go bye!
