Lorindael was the youngest of the three boys around the same age, but somehow always had the best common sense and greatest ability to weasel himself -- and when he wanted to, the others -- out of a very sticky situation. His big brother [[LongestRoad Azathael|Azathael]] usually got them in to those situations. He was still quite young when it became apparent that he would be a brilliant druid. He's often a little at odds with his older brother, who is one of the best hunters in the village, but they remain very close.

Lorindael would frequently try to compete with Ellowyn for [[LongestRoad Raine|Raine's]] attention, but rarely succeeded, and never for long. When he did, it was usually because Raine was choosing to taunt Ellowyn.

His childhood name was Lorin, and when he came of age he chose the name Lorindael.
